Play an impactful role in developing solutions for the opioid crisis this Oct 14th-15th! Opioid West Hack-A-Thon+ 2018, featuring the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), is dedicated to finding unique solutions to issues surrounding the opioid crisis, and supporting the winning teams to IMPLEMENT their ideas into public health research and policymaking.

There are tracks in software development, data science, artificial intelligence, and data visualization, allowing for a wide variety of solutions.

This is a FANTASTIC opportunity for people interested in computer programming, data analytics, data visualization, user design/experience, medicine, public health, and public policy. There will be *cash prizes* for the winning teams of each track and support to translate their Hack-A-Thon prototype into an implementable solution after the event.

We are taking 25 teams, and applications are accepted on a rolling basis. There are $1000s in prizes for the winning teams of each of the four tracks. Apply ASAP, as spots are filling quickly.
